Christine M. Dimitriou is an associate at Mase Tinelli practicing in the areas of admiralty and maritime defense, commercial litigation and general civil litigation matters.
Prior to joining Mase Tinelli, Ms. Dimitriou was an attorney for a commercial litigation and professional malpractice defense firm. In addition, Ms. Dimitriou served as a certified legal intern for the appellate division in the Miami-Dade Office of the Public Defender, where she wrote briefs and presented oral argument in the Third District Court of Appeal.
Ms. Dimitriou graduated cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law and holds a B.A. in Psychology, with honors, from Florida International University. During law school, Ms. Dimitriou was the president and founder of the St. Thomas Maritime Law Society, and received the Silver Oar Award from Professor Attilio Costabel for academic achievement in the law school’s maritime curriculum. Ms. Dimitriou was also a member of the St. Thomas University Law Review, the St. Thomas University Moot Court team, and a student member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
Ms. Dimitriou is admitted to The Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Florida. She is a member of the Miami Dade County Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, the Florida Association of Women’s Lawyers and the American Bar Association. Ms. Dimitriou is fluent in both English and Spanish and has a working knowledge of Italian.
